Just checking to see how many on this forum ride the DR350. I have two, a '93 kickstart model and a '94 electric start. I know it's not the most powerful thing going, but I'm willing to trade a few hp on top for lighter weight. I've owned a DR650, XR650L, WeeStrom and a handful of others, but the little DR fits my needs right now.

I'm in south Alabama, so if there's anybody close by that wants to ride, drop me a line........

Thank you, sir.

I have the second DR at the house as a buddy bike and for when my son comes home to visit. I have two brothers in law nearby, one on a KLR650 and the other on an XR650L.

I've said for years (and I've backed it up a time or two) that when circumstances limit me to one bike, it will be a dualsport. Just so much bang for the buck. My FJR sits and collects dust and my DR's get ridden..... smile

I ride one!  1999 SE.  I've never had anything BUT dual-sport bikes, and I love the 350.

Got a 96SE that's turning into a bit of a Frankenstein.  Best photo I have of it so far-

Got a bunch of stuff I want to do with it but sadly Frank's in pieces at the moment, doing some much needed clutch work.

New guy to the forum. I just got back on the dirt after 5 years of pavement only with a 93 DR350s and I am loving it, great little bike for the woods and trails.

Welcome to the forum,
That is a nice DR that you have there.
I always did think that 350/400cc's were the ideal size for woods riding along with the road also.
Enjoyed the photos as well.

almost 10lbs worth of extra weight, I lost 25 myself this last year so now we should be good.

AST236 and greaser,

Welcome to the RDS forums!

Great pics of your DR350's...  Nimble bikes by many standards, and very capable. Good journeys to you both!

Rally on,

Very interesting. I love 90s bikes, they look so utilitarian. Especially covered in dust. I can imagine doing thousands of miles overland on one.

I am looking forward to doing just that over the course of the summer.

Oh yeah 1200 miles already a good mix of dirt and road, more dirt than road.

Here is a picture of my relatively new to me DR350.  Only a few mods so far including a Six Sigma carb kit and Raptor fuel petcock which made the bike run 100% better.  No extra warm up time, snappy (for a 20yr old 350 4 stroke) throttle response and seems like a bit more power.
