Good stuff Dao...

I have a few videos uploaded, here's another one of my mishaps.

You can see we were on a well established trail then I followed Andrew around to where the trail just vanished. At about 1:15 you can see me looking out and can see where the trail continues on, now I take it upon myself to blaze a trail through to get back on track. Enjoy

Next is my commentary on Dao's attempts at getting through an obstacle on Pritchett Canyon. It pretty much speaks for itself  lol

Here he goes...

So how many times did you replay that one??

Here is the post rock video.

And... HES UP  clap

They did show for a moment this evening....

Enjoying these videos you guys! Every bit as fantastic and high quality as anything that's been posted... you guys are to be applauded for your riding and videography!

 clap

Your team and Mudclod are for sure the RDS cinematographers deluxe! Keep up the good work, and I hope all the bumps and bruises are healing up fine.

Rally on,

I saw them momentarily, then got the "Sorry"  message. I can click the link under the video and it takes me to the Vimeo site, but the vids take a LONG time to load, if they load at all...

I initially had trouble getting them to embed, vimeo recently "updated" their site. I was using the new version on my desktop and couldn't get them to embed correctly then I switched to my laptop where I have continued to use the "old" vimeo and was able to embed just fine. Looks like they are working ok this morning. Lets try a few more just for the sake of experimentation  thumb

This has to be the best start to any trail. This is where Hells Revenge starts straight from the parking lot.

You all remember Hells Gate and what it did to me, well here's how you even get down to give it shot. We almost decided not to do it but upon closer inspection it wasn't as bad as we first thought.

Here I go...

Hi Jeff, it looks as though my forum software that controls how videos are embedded is a bit out of date and does not cope well with the new Vimeo website.
Here is how one person explains it:
"When I switch to the 'New' Vimeo on their site, it kills my embeds. Switching back to 'old Vimeo' and the embeds are fine."

It may take me a while to find a solution (if there is one).
Cheers!

Hey James, I started wearing the Leatt at the beginning of the year mostly from my morbid curiosity in being addicted to reading face plant on ADV. There are several stories of injuries and lack of injuries due to wearing proper gear.

The only time I find if restrictive is when I'm riding on the street and have to look over my shoulder to change lanes, that's easily overcome with moving your head a bit differently to get the chin bar of the helmet over the side of the brace. When I'm riding offroad I hardly notice its there. Im sold on it and will never ride offroad again without.

Howdy MedicJeff, I can embed the new Vimeo videos by adding an HTML tag around the Vimeo embed code.
Unfortunately an HTML tag can allow spammers to insert malicious code into a forum, so its use is limited to me, the administrator.
I will continue looking for a solution that will allow RDS members to use the tag. Until then, please continue to post vimeo videos.
Thank you!

Is this "Andrew?"

Welcome to RDS! You guys had a RIDE didn'tcha?!  And a cool Kane Creek ass-soakin'. I've had a cool, deep (DEEP) Kane Creek ass-soakin' myself a time or two. Ask me about the mask and snorkel around the campfire sometime...

You guys rock, by the way... it's true. When you've ridden what you have, you really do "ROCK!"

All the best,

Stovey
ps - Is MedicJeff okay with his back injury?

I think Jeff is ok.  He has already moved on to his next vacation.  Should be back soon if not already.  He has got the good life.

Jrockit,  Do you still ride?  Are we riding Big Bend this year?

Looking to ride Laos/Vietnam with Dao next year.

Hola amigos, yep, back is doing much better. I'm finally 100% pain free. I think 4 days of laying around on the beach really sorted me out  smile   I'm finally back at work today after nearly 3 weeks off. Honestly I could use another 3 weeks but what do you do?? I'm going to try to get a compilation video done but it will take a while to edit and put together.

Cheers...Jeff

Very interesting, my French Father was born in Shanghai and left shortly after the end of WWII to live in Vietnam. My Grandfather was in the French military police and is buried in Vietnam. Recently, my Father returned to Vietnam a locate his father's grave.
